Lodi Garage - Technicians

Scott Nelson is a native of the Motor City (Detroit). He grew up racing cars down Woodward Avenue and somehow fell in love with repairing vehicles. He worked for several Automotive Shops in his youth, then finally landed a job with a Major Ford Dealership as a specialty mechanic repairing things the engineers could not figure out. Later he worked for a Major General Motors Dealership as a Service Technician then finally started his own successful Repair Facility.

He packed up his tools and headed North in 1995. He chose Kalkaska as his home and purchased Lodi Garage as his business. Scott has made quite a name for himself throughout Northern Michigan. His keen skills in Electrical and Computer Diagnostics have earned him the title of "Guru". There is no problem he can not fix. Scott is a Master A.S.E. Technician with thousands of hours of schooling, some with the Allen Institute in Automotive Diagnostics. His real world knowledge of vehicles has made him one of the best mechanics in Northern Michigan.

Seen here with his dog "Buddy", Scott is enjoying a sunny Northern Michigan afternoon. Don't let all of this Hard Work Talk fool you though, he still makes time to play just as hard as he works!

When the snow flies, so does Scott. Winter is no time for the blues, so Scott heads off through the Great White North on his Ski-Doo 800 H.O. Seen here with a passenger (Probably Scared Crazy) Scott is riding through the Upper Penninsula, enjoying winter to its fullest.

Not much can slow Scott down. Every year he endures thousands of miles of quality trails on his assortment of Ski-Doo snowmobiles.
